ZipWall® is a system of adjustable spring-loaded poles that hold up sheeting to form a barrier, and delineate a work zone or containment system for drying or mould remediation.
Ideal for containing dust during renovations, refurbishments, demolition, and maintenance in sensitive or occupied areas.

Where the 4 Pack Fits
Four poles are enough for a long straight barrier, an L-shaped barrier around a corner, or a three-sided enclosure against an existing wall. It is the pack most operators add when they already own sheeting and want more poles, or when they are building up a kit of their own choosing rather than buying a complete pack.
A barrier is only as good as its edges
Containment under negative pressure fails at the gaps, not in the middle of the sheet. Air takes the easiest path, and a 20 mm gap along a ceiling line will carry more air than the rest of the barrier combined — which means dust, spores or odour going exactly where you promised they would not.
Seal the top, seal the sides, and check the barrier is drawing inward once the air scrubber is running. A barrier that bows toward you is not sealed.
Setting Up a Pole Barrier
- Check the floor and ceiling where each pole will stand — sound plaster or a structural ceiling, not a loose tile or light fitting. On vinyl, polished stone or sealed timber, fit GripDisks to the feet.
- Lay the sheet out and place the first head plate at the top corner, with the plastic sandwiched between the head and the non-skid plate.
- Raise the pole, extend it to the ceiling and compress the spring so the pole holds under load. Repeat along the barrier line.
- Seal the ceiling line with Tight-Seal rails and the wall edges with Side-Seal clamps where the job needs a proper seal rather than a dust screen.
- Fit a zipper for access before the sheet gets dusty, then open it with the zipper cutter.
- Once the air scrubber is running, check the sheet draws inward along its whole length.

Frequently Asked Questions
ZWP4 or Room Kit?
Both have four poles. The Room Kit adds a carry bag and a 10 m x 4 m sheet. If you already have sheeting and a bag, the 4 pack is the cheaper way to add poles.
How far apart should the poles be?
Close enough that the sheet does not sag or billow between them. ZipWall quote up to 12 m of barrier from four poles in standard ceiling heights; under negative pressure, or in a draught, closer spacing and Tight-Seal rails give a better seal.
Are GripDisks included?
The product title lists 4 GripDisks. They are also sold separately as a 2 pack.
What ceiling height do these suit?
1.4 m to 3.8 m. ZipWall Super-Tall poles cover higher ceilings but are not listed by CCW online — ask us.
Can the poles stand on carpet?
Yes. The spring load holds them in place. On slippery hard floors use the GripDisks.
