Vacuum Cleaners

Dry vacuuming removes more soil from a carpet than any single wet process, and every gram taken out dry is soil that never has to be suspended, rinsed and recovered. It is also the step most often shortened when a job runs late.

The choice between upright and backpack is decided by the building, not by the carpet.

The range covers the SEBO XP20 and XP30 commercial upright vacuum cleaners and the Cleanstar Aerolite 1400 watt backpack vacuum and blower with HEPA filtration.

How to choose

Upright for open floor, backpack for obstacles. An upright with a powered brush agitates pile and lifts embedded soil across open commercial floor. A backpack covers stairs, under desks and cluttered offices far faster because the operator is not steering a machine.

Brush agitation is what an upright is for. Suction alone lifts surface debris. The brush is what releases soil held in the pile — which is why a backpack, for all its speed, does not replace an upright on carpet.

HEPA matters where people are. Whatever the machine does not capture goes back into the room. On healthcare, aged care and allergen-sensitive sites that is a specification, not a feature.

Budget the consumables. Bags and filters are what keep airflow up. A machine running on a loaded bag agitates without lifting.

Bags and filters are in Filters & Filter Bags, the SEBO range in SEBO, Cleanstar in Cleanstar, and motors in Vacuum Motors.
