Solution & Water Hoses
Solution hose is a pressure vessel that gets dragged across driveways. It has to hold rated pressure at temperature, survive abrasion, and stay flexible enough to work with — and when it fails it does so at the fitting, usually at the worst moment.
CCW carries two main lines in three lengths, supplied bare or made up with premium quick connects and a valve.
The Hydro-Force Pro 4000 is rated to 4000 psi and 120°C; the Continental ContiTech Neptune 3000 is rated to 3000 psi and 120°C. Both come in 7.5 metre, 15 metre and 30 metre, and both are available bare, with premium quick connects fitted, or with quick connects and a valve. Generic 3000 psi solution hose is also stocked in the same three lengths.
How to choose
Rate the hose above the machine, not to it. A 3000 psi hose on a machine that peaks at 3000 psi has no margin. Where the machine runs at or near 3000, the Pro 4000 is the sensible specification.
Temperature rating matters as much as pressure. Both lines here are rated to 120°C. A hose rated for pressure but not for heat fails at the fitting when a truckmount is running hot.
Length costs pressure. Every extra metre drops pressure at the wand. Two 15 metre lengths joined give you flexibility on site; a single 30 metre run to reach a first floor costs you at the jets.
Made-up or bare. Hose supplied with premium quick connects and a valve fitted saves a bench job and guarantees the fittings match the rating. Bare hose is the choice if you are standardising fittings across a fleet.
