Valve Repair Kits
A leaking valve is rarely a finished valve. Most of them fail at a seal, an O-ring or a stem, and all three are a bench job with a kit and a few minutes — at a fraction of the cost of a replacement.
This range collects the rebuild kits across the valves CCW sells, so the fix can be ordered by the fault rather than by trial.
It covers PMF V800-EZ kits in both stem-with-O-rings and cap-with-O-ring versions, the old-style V800 kit with O-ring and spring, the V2P and V2P-EZI kits, the plastic 120 psi kit, and the combined kit for the V, V1245 and V4N series; the valve stem assembly for the PKI254 1000 psi Kingston; the Westpak Soft Touch kit; the Pumptec regulator kit for PT021 and PP15-808133; the D300/400 DAM type kit; spray gun kits for the NA0820 and the MV910 2000 psi plastic gun; shut-off disks and brass nuts for the Series 31 valve; and the PMF valve handle that fits both V2P and V800 bodies.
How to choose
Diagnose before you order. Weeping at the jets points to the seal or cap kit. Leaking at the stem, or a trigger that has gone spongy, points to the stem kit. Ordering the wrong one costs a week.
Old style and new style are different kits. The V800 and the V800-EZ take different parts despite the similar name. Check the valve body, not the invoice from last time.
Rebuild twice, then replace. A valve that has been through two kits is usually worn in the bore, and a third rebuild will not hold. At that point the complete valve in Valves & Regulators is the better spend.
Keep a kit for the valve you run. These are low-cost items that end a day's work when they are not on the van.
