Split system cleaning is won or lost on containment. The coil cleaning itself is straightforward; keeping the runoff off the customer’s wall, carpet and skirting is the part that decides whether you are invited back.

A bib that does not seal around the head unit puts coil residue exactly where the customer will find it, and no amount of care with the lance recovers that.

How to choose

Bib size follows the head unit, not the room. A standard bib will not seal around a wide wall unit or a ceiling cassette. The XL and cassette kits exist because those are different shapes, not bigger versions of the same shape.

Cassette work needs the stand. A ceiling cassette bib has nowhere to hang from. The stand kit is what makes that job a one-person operation.

Tip angle is about access, not reach. The 90 degree tip is what gets to the back face of a coil without pulling the unit off the wall. A longer straight lance does not solve the same problem.

Foaming changes dwell, not pressure. The foaming nozzle holds chemistry on a vertical coil face long enough to work. On a badly loaded coil that matters more than flow rate.

Bibs and bags are per-job consumables. On a multi-head commercial contract they are the first thing to run out. Order by head count, not by the each.
