Cleanstar sits in the part of the market where the machine has to work every day and be serviceable locally. It is commercial contract cleaning equipment rather than specialist restoration gear, and it is priced and supported accordingly.

The consumables matter more than the machines here. A backpack vacuum without the right bag is a dust spreader, and a polisher without the right pad is a very expensive way to make marks.

How to choose

Check the machine list, not the bag shape. The XP2 and XP3 bags cover several rebadged machines. Fit at the collar is what decides whether fine dust reaches the motor — a bag that nearly fits filters nothing.

Orbital scrubbing and polishing are different jobs. The 13 inch is set up for encapsulation scrubbing on carpet; the 15 inch is a floor polisher. Both are orbital, and they are not interchangeable in practice.

HEPA matters where people are. A backpack vacuum in an occupied office is putting whatever it does not capture back into the room. On allergen-sensitive and healthcare sites that is the specification, not a feature.

Match motor diameter and stages when replacing. A 5.7 inch 2-stage is not interchangeable with a 6.6 inch in the same housing. Measure before ordering.
