Hose Accessories

Hose is the most abused item on a job and the most expensive to replace early. It gets dragged around door jambs, over stair nosings and across driveways, and almost all of that damage happens at four or five predictable points.

Guards and hangers are cheap insurance against that, and they also decide how the customer’s house looks while you are working in it. A hose run around a corner guard rather than into the architrave is the difference between a clean job and a repair bill.

How to choose

Guard the corners, not the hose. Damage concentrates where hose turns under tension. Two corner guards at the door and the stair head prevent more wear than any amount of careful handling.

Hanger length follows the coil, not the wall. A 33 cm hanger will not carry a 30 metre solution line without the coil bellying off. Size to what you actually hang on it.

The inline waste filter protects the pump-out, not the carpet. On flood and heavily soiled work it catches what would otherwise reach the waste pump. It is a consumable screen, not a fit-and-forget fitting.

Match the swivel to the pressure. High pressure and low pressure live reel assemblies are different parts. Fitting a low pressure swivel to a solution line is a failure under load, not a slow leak.
