Restoration equipment earns its keep by being available. A dehumidifier waiting on a filter from overseas is a unit not on hire, and the parts that hold them up are almost always small and consumable.

This range brings the three most common restoration brands into one place: Dri-Eaz, Phoenix and Dry Air Technology filters, couplers, switches and spares.

It includes the complete Dri-Eaz HEPA 500 filter stack — 1st stage, 2nd stage, carbon pre-filter and primary HEPA — Dri-Eaz 4-Pro dehumidifier filters in both sizes, the Sahara switch, hydrosensor thumb screws and male pump-out hose couplers; Phoenix Guardian R pre-filters and HEPA filters, stainless dehumidifier filters, 16 x 20 x 2 inch pleated media, coupling inserts and female drain hose bodies; and HI-FLO MERV-8 elements that suit several machines.

How to choose

Filters are staged and the order matters. On a HEPA 500 the pre-filters exist to protect the primary. Running without one does not save money, it moves the cost to the most expensive filter in the stack.

Match the filter to the machine, not the nominal size. Several of these are close in dimension and not interchangeable. Check the model on the product page — a filter that nearly fits bypasses air around the edge and filters nothing.

Couplers are handed. Male and female pump-out couplers and drain hose bodies are sold separately and are easy to order the wrong way round. Check what is on the machine, not what is on the hose.

Hold a filter set per machine on hire. A dehumidifier returning from a job needs a filter before it goes out again. Stock at the depot rather than ordering per job.
