Working at height without a ladder is faster, safer and often the only option in an occupied building. A telescopic pole with the right head does what a ladder does, without the setup, the footprint or the risk assessment.

The Fixi clamp system is the other half of it — a clamp head that grips sheeting or a tool at the end of the pole.

The range covers the Unger Fixi Clamp in metal head only and plastic head only, and the Unger 2.5 metre two-stage telescopic pole.

How to choose

Metal for load, plastic for surfaces. The metal head grips harder and lasts longer; the plastic head is kinder to what it clamps against. On a customer's ceiling or painted surface that difference matters.

Poles hold best part-extended. A two-stage pole at full extension flexes and holds less. Check your worst ceiling height rather than your average one.

Heads are sold separately from poles. Both Fixi clamps here are heads only. Order the pole with them if you do not already have one.

A pole is not a ladder substitute for everything. It is for reaching and holding, not for load-bearing work or anything needing two hands at height.
