Sprayer Parts
A sprayer is a metering device. If the tip is wrong, blocked or worn, the dilution on the carpet is not the dilution on the label — and every result downstream of that is guesswork.
Most sprayer faults are a tip, a seal or a strainer, and all three are inexpensive. Replacing them is faster and cheaper than replacing the sprayer.

How to choose
The metering tip sets the dilution, so order it by ratio. Yellow and brown are different ratios, not different sizes. Changing chemistry usually means changing tip.
Most "the sprayer stopped working" faults are the tip or the strainer. Check both before condemning the pump. A partially blocked tip still sprays — it just sprays the wrong ratio, which is harder to notice and worse.
Match seal material to chemistry. Viton check valves and seals survive solvents and oxidisers that will swell a standard seal within weeks.
Brass or stainless strainers. Brass is fine for general prespray. Stainless earns its cost where acidic or oxidising chemistry runs through the sprayer regularly.
