Refund Policy

At Carpet Cleaners Warehouse (CCW), we are committed to complying with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and providing fair outcomes for our customers.

Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement, repair, or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Goods

If you receive a product that is damaged in transit, faulty, defective, or incorrectly supplied, please contact us as soon as possible.

To assist with assessment, we may request photographs, serial numbers, proof of purchase, or other information relevant to the claim.

Where a product is confirmed to be faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied, or otherwise covered under Australian Consumer Law, CCW will provide an appropriate remedy, which may include:

  • Repair
  • Replacement
  • Store credit
  • Refund

CCW will cover reasonable return shipping costs for approved warranty, fault, damage, or incorrect supply claims.

Change of Mind Returns

CCW may, at its sole discretion, accept returns for change of mind within 14 days of delivery, provided that:

  • The return is approved by CCW before being sent back.
  • The product is unused and in original condition.
  • The product is returned in its original packaging.
  • All accessories, manuals, and included items are returned.
  • The product is not a special order, custom-built, made-to-order, clearance, consumable, chemical, or non-returnable item.

Approved change of mind returns may be subject to a restocking fee and the customer is responsible for all return shipping costs.

Original freight charges are non-refundable unless required under Australian Consumer Law.

Non-Returnable Items

Unless required under Australian Consumer Law, the following items cannot be returned for change of mind:

  • Special order products
  • Custom-built equipment
  • Made-to-order products
  • Chemicals and cleaning solutions
  • Consumables
  • Electrical components that have been installed or used
  • Products specifically marked as non-returnable
  • Clearance or end-of-line items

Return Process

Before returning any product, customers must obtain return authorisation from CCW.

Returns sent without prior approval may be refused or delayed.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method used for the purchase unless otherwise agreed.

Warranty Claims

Many products sold by CCW are covered by manufacturer warranties.

Warranty claims may require inspection, testing, repair, replacement, or manufacturer assessment before a final outcome is determined.

Warranty coverage, terms, and conditions vary by manufacturer and product.

Business Customers

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights available under Australian Consumer Law.

Where permitted by law, remedies available for goods supplied for business use may be limited in accordance with applicable legislation.
