Commercial Carpet Cleaning Machines
A commercial carpet cleaning machine is bought on throughput, not on the brochure. What matters is how many square metres it will clean in a day at the heat, pressure and vacuum the job needs, how quickly it dries the carpet behind it, and whether it will still be doing that in five years. Domestic units and hire machines do not survive that test; the machines on this page are built for it.
This is CCW's professional range in one place — the portable extractors, truckmounts and rotary machines that carpet cleaning contractors, commercial cleaners, facility teams and restoration companies in Australia and New Zealand run every day.
The range covers portable carpet extractors — the Razorback SPOTX 3 gallon spot extractors, the Balboa 700 and Drago 1600 in standard and auto fill / auto pump-out versions, and the TractX 12 gallon 500 PSI machines, including the dual-vacuum instant-heat version; truckmounts — HydraMaster Boxxer 318HP, TITAN 375, 425 and 575HP and TMTG4000, and Sapphire Scientific 370EFI, 570 Apex and 870HP Everest, all supplied as in-the-box packages; and rotary extraction — the HydraMaster RX20 NextGen and the Hydro-Force CX-15 cordless rotary tool.
Choosing a commercial carpet cleaning machine
Portable or truckmount is a question about your work, not your budget. A truckmount delivers the most heat, pressure and vacuum and cleans fastest, but it needs a vehicle, an install and a hose run to the door. A high-end portable such as the TractX or Drago 1600 goes up lifts, into apartments, offices and shopping centres, and runs off site power. Most established operators end up with one of each; a new operator should buy for the jobs they are actually quoting.
Vacuum dries the carpet; pressure does the cleaning. On a portable, the vacuum specification decides how dry the carpet is when you leave, which decides whether the customer calls back. Dual-vacuum machines like the TractX Dual exist for commercial work where drying time is measured in hours, not overnight. Pressure is for soil load — the TractX machines run at 500 PSI, and heavy restaurant and hospitality soil justifies the instant-heat versions.
Auto fill and auto pump-out pay for themselves on large floors. A 12 gallon tank empties fast on a commercial job. Auto fill from a tap and pump-out to a drain remove the stop-start that costs more time than the cleaning does, which is why the Drago 1600 and Balboa 700 are offered in both configurations.
Rotary extraction for heavily soiled and large commercial carpet. The RX20 NextGen adds rotary agitation to hot water extraction and is used for large commercial floors and restoration cleaning, typically behind a truckmount; the CX-15 gives a cordless version for tighter work.
Buy the machine, then the system around it. Hose runs, wands, inline heaters and vac boosters change what a portable can do — see Portable Carpet Cleaning Equipment for the full range, and Truckmounts for the truckmount packages and accessories. Carpet wands and upholstery tools are chosen to match the machine's vacuum, and the chemistry to match the fibre.
Truckmount packages are quoted, not priced online — use the Get a Quote button on the product page or call the team. Every machine CCW sells is backed by its own workshop and technicians for installation, service and parts.
