Urine work is the job most cleaners quote wrong, because the contamination is not where the stain is. By the time an odour is noticeable the deposit is usually through the backing and into the underlay, and surface cleaning treats the symptom.

Stain Out Systems is built around getting solution into that layer and pulling it back out, and around finding it in the first place — which is what the UV kit is for.

How to choose

Inspect before you quote, not after. A UV light shows the extent of contamination in a darkened room. Quoting a urine job on what you can see in daylight is how a fixed price becomes a loss.

Flush and extract is a cycle, not a pass. Sub-surface tools work by flooding the affected layer with solution and immediately lifting it. One pass dilutes; several passes remove. Budget the time.

Battery sprayers earn their keep on volume. Hand-pumping 19 litres through a large treatment is slow and inconsistent. The Penguin and Gentoo hold constant pressure, which matters when application rate is part of the method.

Match the tool to the access. The hand tool works spots and edges; the Pro floor tool covers area. Most urine jobs need both, because contamination rarely stops at a tidy boundary.

Warn the customer that it may look worse first. Flushing brings deposit to the surface before it comes out. Saying so in advance is the difference between confidence and a complaint.
