Solution hose is a pressure vessel that spends its life being dragged across driveways and around door jambs. When it fails it fails at the fitting, usually with a truckmount running hot and a customer watching.

Two numbers matter and they matter together: working pressure and temperature rating. A hose rated for pressure but not for heat is the one that lets go on a hot machine.

The Neptune 3000 is rated to 3000 psi and 120 °C. CCW carries it in blue in 7.5 metre, 15 metre, 30 metre and 60 metre, supplied bare, with premium quick connects fitted, or with quick connects and a valve.

How to choose

Rate the hose above the machine, not level with it. A 3000 psi hose on a machine that peaks at 3000 psi has no margin for a pressure spike. Where the machine runs at or near that figure, step up.

Length costs pressure at the jets. Every additional metre drops delivery. Two 15 metre lengths joined give flexibility on site; a single 60 metre run to reach a top floor costs you where it matters.

Made-up or bare is a standardisation decision. Hose supplied with premium quick connects and a valve saves a bench job and guarantees the fittings match the rating. Bare hose is right if you are standardising fittings across a fleet.

Inspect at the crimp, not along the length. Abrasion along the cover is cosmetic for a long time. Movement, bulging or weeping at the fitting is the end of that hose.

The wider hose range is in Solution & Water Hoses, fittings in Quick Connects & Valves, guards and hangers in Hose Accessories, and reels in Reels, Shelves & Van Fit-Out.
