Cimex Accessories
A Cimex runs three counter-rotating discs rather than one, which is what gives it its consistency across a commercial floor. It also means it takes three pads at a time, in a size that is specific to the machine.
That combination makes pad supply the practical constraint. Running a Cimex a disc short, or with mismatched pads, produces exactly the streaking the machine exists to avoid.
The range covers FiberPlus 8 inch beige pads in boxes of 15 and FiberPlus MAX 8 inch grey pads in boxes of 15; the Tuway Thin One Cimex bonnet at 8 inch; and a 20 cm hand bonnet and encapsulation pad with green strip for edges and detail.
How to choose
Buy in threes, stock in fifteens. Every pad change consumes three. The boxes of 15 are five changes, which is roughly a commercial week.
Match all three discs. Mixing a fresh pad with two loaded ones gives uneven cut and shows as banding on the floor.
Thin One bonnets are made for the machine. A thicker bonnet lifts the disc and changes the contact pressure the Cimex was designed around.
The hand pad finishes what the machine cannot. Perimeters, under desks and around fixed furniture still need doing, and matching the pad type keeps the appearance consistent.
