Description
The 45 degree Quick Disconnect Adapter is an accessory designed to fit CoilJet coil cleaning equipment from SpeedClean. The adapter is durable and easy to attach.

45 or 90 Degree?
The adapter sits between the spray gun and the nozzle and turns the spray off the line of the gun. SpeedClean makes two:
- 45 degree (this adapter) — angles the spray off the line of the gun, for coils you cannot square up to with a straight gun.
- 90 degree — a full right angle, for spraying into a coil from inside a cabinet or along the face of a coil.

Using It
- Switch the CoilJet off and relieve pressure by squeezing the trigger, pointed in a safe direction.
- Fit the adapter to the spray gun quick connect and check it has locked. Fit your nozzle to the adapter.
- Test spray away from the coil, check for leaks, then clean.
- Keep the spray moving and back it off the fins — a pinpoint jet held close will fold them.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the adapter change the pressure?
SpeedClean lists "low-pressure control for safer coil maintenance" as a feature. It does not publish a pressure rating for the adapter; the CoilJet CJ-125 pump delivers up to 125 psi.
Which nozzles fit it?
It is designed for CoilJet quick-disconnect nozzles such as the red pinpoint nozzle and the yellow 15 degree nozzle.
Earlier CCW notes said SpeedClean listed the 90 degree adapter under this number.
SpeedClean's current accessories page lists two separate adapters: CJ-QDN-45 (45 degree) and CJ-QDN-90 (90 degree).
