Why It Matters
Cleaning cassette systems has been time-consuming and labour-intensive. Using pressurised water and coil cleaners is the key to good coil cleaning, but on a cassette everything you spray comes straight back down. The ductless cassette bib kit installs quickly and creates a funnel that directs all your water and cleaner into a bucket.

How to Use It
- Turn off the main power to the air conditioner (SpeedClean's first step).
- Remove the cassette's grille and filters as you normally would to reach the coil and fan.
- Attach the bib to the ceiling around the cassette using the mounting hooks and adjustable tightening system, and tighten until the bib is sealed against the ceiling.
- Run the drain line down to a bucket on the floor, keeping it running downhill.
- Clean the coils, fans and more.
- Pack the kit back into the bucket when done. Dry the bib before long storage.

Before You Wash
- Isolate the air conditioner at the switchboard or isolator before fitting the bib — SpeedClean's first step is to turn off the main power.
- Protect the floor and furniture below — on a cassette, anything the bib misses lands there.
- Check the bib for holes and the drain spout for splits before you start. A leaking bib puts water down a customer's wall.
- Keep the bucket below the bib outlet so the drain hose runs downhill all the way.
- Coil cleaner and wash water go to the bucket. Dispose of it in line with the chemical's SDS and local trade waste rules, not into a stormwater drain.
