Choosing a Lance or Wand
SpeedClean sells two families of CoilJet reach tools. The extension lance assemblies (CJ-9655 to CJ-9659, 18 to 60 in) are chrome-plated steel. The spray wands (8945 series) are aluminium with a 90 degree tip, and there are flexible wands that can be bent to shape. CCW stocks:

SpeedClean does not publish a pressure rating for the CJ-9655. The CoilJet CJ-125 pump produces up to 125 psi (SpeedClean manual), so the lance is working within the machine it was designed for. Longer SpeedClean lances (24, 36, 48 and 60 in) are not listed by CCW — ask us if you need one.
Using an Extension Lance
- Switch the CoilJet off and relieve pressure by squeezing the spray gun trigger, pointed in a safe direction.
- Fit the lance to the spray gun quick connect and make sure it has locked. If you are fitting a nozzle to the lance outlet, confirm with us which CoilJet nozzles suit it.
- Switch on, test spray away from the coil and check the joint for leaks.
- Keep the nozzle square to the fin face and at a sensible distance. Coil fins bend easily, and a straight jet held close will fold them over.
- When finished, run clean water through, switch off and relieve pressure before removing the lance.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does it fit other coil cleaners or pressure washers?
It is sold as a CoilJet accessory with CoilJet quick connect fittings. CCW has not confirmed fit on any other machine.
Do I need a nozzle on the end?
The lance extends the reach; the nozzle sets the spray pattern. SpeedClean does not publish which nozzles fit the lance outlet, so check with us before ordering. CoilJet nozzles CCW stocks: the red pinpoint nozzle, the yellow 15 degree nozzle and the foaming nozzle.
Rigid lance or flexible wand?
A rigid lance is easier to control and aim along a straight path into a coil. A flexible wand is for paths a rigid lance cannot follow, such as behind a unit or up into a cassette.
Is it the same as the Condenser Needle?
No. The Condenser Needle runs off a garden hose. This lance is for the CoilJet only.
