SpeedClean CoilJet yellow nozzle, 15 degree
The yellow 15 degree nozzle for the SpeedClean CoilJet. SpeedClean's CJ-125 manual lists the yellow nozzle as CJ-QDN-1504Y, the 15 degree rinsing nozzle supplied with the machine for coil cleaning.

Correction: CCW's earlier specification line for this nozzle read "Spray Angle: 0°", copied from the red nozzle. This is the 15 degree nozzle.

The nozzle's pressure rating is far above the CoilJet's 125 psi output, so it is not the limiting factor on this machine. The two maximum-pressure figures in CCW's original listing disagree and are shown as listed.
The one to reach for first
15 degrees gives you a narrow fan rather than a stream — enough concentration to move soil out of a fin pack, spread enough not to fold the fins. On evaporator coils and on any aluminium fin in reasonable condition, this is the nozzle to start with.
Move to the red 0 degree nozzle only where a deposit genuinely resists it, and keep your distance when you do.
Same orifice, different pattern
Both nozzles have a 0.25 mm orifice, so flow and pressure are the same. What changes is how that flow is distributed — and on a fin pack, distribution is the whole question.
Using it
- Apply coil cleaner evenly, let a foaming cleaner sit for about 5 minutes if possible, then rinse with clean water (SpeedClean manual).
- Spray in line with the fins, and wash back the way the dirt came in where access allows.
- Remove the nozzle to prime the pump, then refit it.
Frequently asked questions
Why does the SKU not match SpeedClean's part number?
CCW's stock code is BAR125 85.216.050, not SpeedClean's CJ-QDN-1504Y. It is sold as the CoilJet yellow nozzle; tell us if you need the SpeedClean-branded part specifically.
How often should nozzles be replaced?
When the spray pattern opens up or pressure becomes erratic and cleaning the orifice does not fix it. Keeping a spare in the kit saves a return trip.
