Flexible Spray Wand, straight, for use with the CoilJet. The flexible spray wand with a straight nozzle is used for quick and easy cleaning of both the indoor and outdoor coils on split air conditioning systems. It is designed for both indoor and outdoor units, and the straight nozzle lets you reach into a coil and remove dirt and debris with precision.
What the Straight Tip Is For
A straight (0 degree) tip sprays forward, along the line of the shaft. Bend the wand to get round a housing or bracket, point the end at the part you want to wash, and the spray goes where the wand is pointing. It suits blower wheels, the corners of an indoor coil and gaps you can only reach end-on.
If you need to spray sideways from inside or behind a coil, use the flexible 90 degree wand instead.

Shaping the Wand
- Bend it by hand in a smooth curve before you switch on. Do not kink it.
- Bend along the length, not right at the fittings.
- A straight jet is concentrated. Keep it moving and back it off from the fins — it will fold them over if held close.
Using It Safely
- Switch the CoilJet off and relieve pressure by squeezing the spray gun trigger, pointed in a safe direction, before fitting or removing the wand.
- Fit the wand to the spray gun quick connect and check it has locked. Test spray away from the coil and check the joint for leaks.
- Isolate the air conditioner before you wash it, and keep spray away from electrical components.
- Keep the spray moving and square to the fins. Fins fold over easily if a jet is held close or at an angle.
- SpeedClean's CJ-125 manual limits water temperature to 60 °C and rules out acid cleaners and cleaners containing sodium or potassium hydroxide in the CoilJet. That applies to everything downstream of the pump, including this wand.
- After the job, run clean water through, switch off and relieve pressure.

Does it work with the cassette bib?
Yes. SpeedClean lists this wand as an accessory for the Mini-Split Cassette Bib Kit, for washing cassette coils from below.
Is there a shorter version?
SpeedClean makes a 12 in flexible straight wand (8945-0-DEG-FW12). CCW does not list it — ask us.
Is it the same as the Condenser Needle?
No. The Condenser Needle runs off a garden hose. This wand is for the CoilJet only.
