Why a 90 Degree Tip?
Dirt packs into a coil from the air-inlet side. Washing from the outside pushes much of it further into the fins. A wand fed into the coil cabinet with a 90 degree tip sprays back out through the coil, against the direction of airflow, so the dirt leaves the way it came in. That is what SpeedClean mean by cleaning from the inside out.

Using It Safely
- Switch the CoilJet off and relieve pressure by squeezing the spray gun trigger, pointed in a safe direction, before fitting or removing the wand.
- Fit the wand to the spray gun quick connect and check it has locked. Test spray away from the coil and check the joint for leaks.
- Isolate the air conditioner before you wash it, and keep spray away from electrical components.
- Keep the spray moving and square to the fins. Fins fold over easily if a jet is held close or at an angle.
- SpeedClean's CJ-125 manual limits water temperature to 60 °C and rules out acid cleaners and cleaners containing sodium or potassium hydroxide in the CoilJet. That applies to everything downstream of the pump, including this wand.
- After the job, run clean water through, switch off and relieve pressure.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this the same product as the other needle you have?
No, this product is only for use with the CoilJet. You may be referring to the Condenser Needle, a different product used with a hose.
Does it need a separate nozzle?
The 90 degree spray tip is part of the wand. SpeedClean lists the wand as a complete accessory in the CJ-125 parts breakdown.
Can I bend it to reach further round a corner?
No. This is the rigid aluminium wand. If you need to shape the wand, use the flexible 90 degree wand.
Will it fit my pressure washer?
It is sold as a CoilJet accessory. CCW has not confirmed it on any other machine, and a pressure washer can exceed the wand's rating.
