Important — 90 or 45 degrees?
CCW also stocks the SpeedClean 45 degree quick disconnect adapter. The 90 degree turns the spray square to the lance for reaching behind a coil or up into a cassette; the 45 degree suits faces you can partly see but not stand square to. Many technicians carry both.
Why the angle matters on a coil
A condenser or evaporator coil has to be washed through the fins, and on an installed unit there is rarely room to get a straight lance square to the face. A 90 degree adapter turns the spray without turning the operator, so you can reach the back of a coil or the underside of a cassette without dismantling it.
Washing a coil at an angle rather than square to the fins is the most common reason a coil looks clean and still does not recover its airflow — the soil is pushed sideways into the pack instead of out of it.

Using it
- Relieve the pressure at the gun before connecting or removing the adapter.
- Start with the yellow 15 degree nozzle; keep the red pinpoint nozzle for condensate trays and stubborn spots.
- Wash from the clean (air leaving) side back towards the dirty side where you can, so soil comes out the way it went in.
- Keep the spray in line with the fins rather than across them.
Frequently asked questions
Does it change the pressure at the nozzle?
It changes direction, not the pump. The CoilJet delivers 125 psi (SpeedClean); a small loss through any fitting is normal.
Will it fit other brands of coil cleaner?
Not confirmed. It is sold for the SpeedClean CoilJet quick-connect system.
Can I use it with the extension lances?
The CoilJet lances already come with angled or flexible tips. Ask us before combining parts if you are unsure what fits your gun.
