Product Overview
Viper Venom Powder with Citrus is the powdered version of the Viper Venom prespray — a high alkaline, solvent-fortified concentrate for heavy tile and grout soil, with a citrus fragrance.
It dissolves in around 30 seconds, is less foamy than typical restoration presprays, and works with pump-up or electric sprayers. Best results come from mixing with hot water.
Choosing Across the Viper Range
The soil decides the chemistry, and the pH direction decides the risk. Alkaline products lift greasy and organic soil; the acid product dissolves mineral deposits. They are not interchangeable.

Alkaline first. Most tile and grout soil is greasy and organic, and that is what the alkaline products are for. Reach for the acid only when what is left is mineral.
Why Powder
- Cost per made-up litre. A jar makes up to about 25 ready-to-use gallons for restoration work, or roughly 100 for maintenance dilution.
- Freight and storage. You are not shipping or carrying water.
- Citrus fragrance — orange, lemon and lime — which matters on occupied commercial sites more than most people admit.

Greasy Commercial Soil
The high pH and solvent content is aimed squarely at restaurant and commercial kitchen floors, where the soil is oil and fat bound into the grout. It starts working on contact and dissolves grease in minutes.
Standing Rules for Hard Surface Chemistry
- Pretest in an inconspicuous area, every job. Tile, grout and stone vary, and so does what has been done to them before.
- Never mix products. Acid and alkaline neutralise each other and waste both; acid mixed with chlorinated products can generate chlorine gas.
- Never let it dry on the surface. Dwell, then clean and extract while it is still wet.
- Rinse thoroughly. Residue left in grout attracts soil and the floor looks worse in a month than it did before you cleaned it.
- Ventilate, and keep children and pets out of the area during application and drying.
- Know your stone. Marble, travertine and limestone are calcareous and are attacked by acid. Ask before you spray.

How much do I use?
120 to 180 grams per 4 litres of hot water for restoration work. Lighter for maintenance and general cleaning.
Powder or liquid Venom?
Powder is cheaper per made-up litre and adds fragrance. The liquid (CR22GL) is quicker to mix and is the one specified for fire and smoke work.
Does it need hot water?
It dissolves quickly regardless, but hot water gives the best cleaning result. This is a hot prespray by design.
Is it safe on natural stone?
It is a high alkaline product. Pretest, and treat stone with the same caution as the liquid Venom.
