A heavy duty Space Saver reel for truckmount vacuum hose. It holds 60 metres of 51 mm (2") vacuum hose and is the base unit of the Space Saver system: solution and water reels bolt to either side of it, so vacuum, solution and water hose can all live in one footprint in the van.

Building a Space Saver Setup
The vacuum reel is sold on its own, and the other reels add to it. Three common setups:

The Solution Reels are storage reels as supplied. To run solution or water through a hose while it is still wound, fit the High Pressure Solution Live Reel Swivel Assembly (AR34) or the Low-Pressure Live Reel Swivel Assembly (AR35) to the solution reel.
Fitting It in the Van
- Measure the floor space and the height under the roof before you order. The reel is 42 cm wide and 114 cm long on its own; side reels and the stacker bracket add to the width.
- Plan which side the vacuum hose pays out from, and which side the solution and water reels sit, before you bolt anything down. The side reels can go on either side.
- Fix the reel to the vehicle's structure, not just the floor lining. A loaded 60 m vacuum reel is a heavy object in a sudden stop.
- Check for fuel lines, brake lines and wiring under the floor before drilling, and seal every hole.
- Use the locking latch when driving so the drum cannot unwind.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the hose included?
No. The reel is supplied without hose.
Can I add a solution reel later?
Yes. The Space Saver Solution Reel (AR11) bolts to the side of this reel, and the Stacker Bracket (AR31) takes two Solution Reels. You can start with the vacuum reel and add to it.
Which side do the solution reels go on?
Either side. The Solution Reel, or the Stacker Bracket with dual Solution Reels, can be fitted to either side or in other combinations to suit the van layout.
Does it suit my truckmount?
The charcoal finish suits Hydramaster, Sapphire, Prochem and most other brands of truckmount. The reel holds standard 51 mm (2") truckmount vacuum hose.
Is it cheaper to buy the triple reel complete?
If you know you want all three hoses on reels, compare the price of the complete Space Saver Triple Solution Reel (AR23COMP) with buying this reel, the Stacker Bracket and two Solution Reels separately.
