Flexible Spray Wand, 90 degrees, for use with the CoilJet for quick and easy cleaning of indoor and outdoor coils on split air conditioning systems. This flexible spray wand attaches to the CoilJet system, making it simple to clean both indoor and outdoor coils on split air conditioning units. Flexible where a fixed adapter cannot reach
Split system indoor and outdoor coils are installed to fit the building, not to be serviced. A flexible wand follows a path a rigid one cannot — behind a unit, up into a cassette, around a fan housing — and holds the angle once you have it there.
Getting the nozzle square to the fin face is what does the cleaning. Everything else is water.
For a fixed right angle, the 90 degree quick disconnect adapter is more rigid and easier to control.

Shaping the Wand
- Bend it by hand in a smooth curve before you switch on. Do not kink it — a tight fold restricts flow and weakens the shaft.
- Bend it along its length, not right at the fittings.
- Set the shape, then check where the 90 degree tip is pointing before you pull the trigger.
Using It Safely
- Switch the CoilJet off and relieve pressure by squeezing the spray gun trigger, pointed in a safe direction, before fitting or removing the wand.
- Fit the wand to the spray gun quick connect and check it has locked. Test spray away from the coil and check the joint for leaks.
- Isolate the air conditioner before you wash it, and keep spray away from electrical components.
- Keep the spray moving and square to the fins. Fins fold over easily if a jet is held close or at an angle.
- SpeedClean's CJ-125 manual limits water temperature to 60 °C and rules out acid cleaners and cleaners containing sodium or potassium hydroxide in the CoilJet. That applies to everything downstream of the pump, including this wand.
- After the job, run clean water through, switch off and relieve pressure.
Frequently Asked Questions
90 degree or straight tip?
The 90 degree tip sprays to the side of the shaft, which suits cleaning a coil from behind or inside. The straight tip sprays forward along the shaft, which suits reaching into a gap and washing what is in front of you.
How is it different from the 24 in rigid wand?
Same length and tip angle. The rigid 8945-24 is aluminium and easier to aim in a straight line; this one can be shaped.
Is it part of a kit?
SpeedClean's Mini-Split Cleaning Accessory Kit (CJ-MSB-ACC-KIT) contains a 24 in 90 degree wand, a 12 in flexible straight wand and a 25 degree fan nozzle. CCW does not list that kit; the wands are sold individually.
