Injectidry Duct Ring Adapter for Phoenix Guardian HEPA The newer model Phoenix Guardian no longer has a sheet metal collar for the intake. To adapt the ADP-5 to the newer style Guardian or the older style without the collar, place the separate ring provided on the face of the Guardian port (on top of the unit) and then place the ADP-5 onto it.
Why this adapter exists
The newer Phoenix Guardian no longer has the sheet metal collar at the intake that the ADP-5 was designed to clamp onto. This ring restores that connection, so an existing Injectidry duct setup can be used with a current-generation Guardian without replacing the ducting.
If you run a mixed fleet of older and newer Guardians, this is the part that keeps one set of ducting working across both.
What It Works With
Injectidry lists this collar (part number ADPRING) as allowing three of its adapters to attach to the new-style Phoenix Guardian:
- Injectidry Adaptidry 5 Port (ADP-5)
- Injectidry Adaptidry 9 Port (ADP-9)
- Injectidry Direct-It axial adapter — full kit (UAA2) or head only (UAA2-AO)
It is not used with the Direct-It IN, which fits the outlet of a standard air mover rather than a duct port.

If your Guardian still has the sheet metal intake collar, you do not need this adapter. Look at the intake before ordering, or send us a photograph.
Is One Already in the Box?
CCW's description refers to "the separate ring provided", and Injectidry's Adaptidry documents list a Guardian ring with the ADP-9. Whether a ring ships inside the current ADP-5, ADP-9 or Direct-It box is being confirmed with Injectidry. Fitting
- Switch the Guardian off.
- Place the ring on the face of the intake port on top of the unit.
- Seat the Adaptidry or Direct-It adapter onto the ring.
- Check the joint for air leaks once running — a leak at the ring reduces the air drawn through the drying lines.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does it fit other air scrubbers?
Injectidry lists it for the Phoenix Guardian only. Other scrubbers with 12–18 inch duct rings take the Adaptidry or Direct-It adapters directly.
Does it change the Guardian's filtration?
No. It is a mounting collar. Filters are unchanged — see HEPA filter for Phoenix Guardian R.
How do I know which Guardian I have?
Look at the intake port on top. A raised sheet metal collar means no adapter is needed; a flat port face means you need this ring.
