Important — Hard Floors or Carpet?
EZ Moves make separate slides for each floor type. This set has a felt base for hard floors. For moving furniture across carpet, use the EZ Moves Pro, which EZ Moves sell as their carpet slide.

A Note on Size
The two size figures above do not agree. 8 × 4¾ inches is about 20 × 12 cm, not 15 × 24 cm. EZ Moves list their professional hard-surface slide as 8 inches long × 5 inches wide (about 20 × 13 cm) on the product page, and as 4¾ × 7¾ inches elsewhere on their site. The inch figures are the closer match, and we are confirming the size of current stock. If the exact size matters for your furniture, ask us before ordering.
How They Work
EZ Moves describe the hard-surface slide as an industrial felt base under a thick (½ inch) EVA foam top. The felt glides over the floor; the foam sits against the furniture. No adhesive is used, so the slides are reusable.
- Check the floor and the felt for grit first. Grit trapped under a felt slide will scratch timber and vinyl.
- Tilt the item and place a slide under each leg or corner.
- Get all four slides in place before you push. Three on and one off is how a leg digs in.
- Push rather than pull, keeping the load over the slides.
- Remove the slides before the furniture is put in its final position.
Where They Fit on a Cleaning Job
Most furniture moving on a carpet job happens on carpet, but many jobs include tiled kitchens, timber hallways and vinyl wet areas. Dragging a heavy item across a hard floor is how floors get scored and how technicians get hurt; a slide lets one person move it without lifting.
Slides move furniture. They are not a moisture barrier. When furniture goes back onto damp carpet, use plastic pads or foam blocks instead.

Can I use these on carpet?
They are designed for hard floors. For carpet, use the EZ Moves Pro.
Will the felt scratch my floor?
Clean felt on a clean floor should not. Grit is the risk. Wipe the floor and check the felt before each move.
Are they reusable?
Yes. There is no adhesive. Use them, remove them and store them until next time.
How much weight can they take?
EZ Moves do not publish a load rating. Tell us what you are moving and we will give you a straight answer rather than a guess.
