Important — Carpet or Hard Floors?
EZ Moves sell the Pro as their furniture slide for carpet. Some distributors describe it as suitable for all floor types. For timber, tile, vinyl and laminate, EZ Moves make a felt-based hard-surface slide, which CCW stocks as the EZ Moves Hard Surface Furniture Slides (AC027).

How It Works
Simply tilt the object being moved, place the EZmoves® Furniture Slides under each corner then push or pull the object with ease. The ultra-smooth base has a built-in dual spring action to apply upward pressure keeping the slide in place during movement. Use, remove and store until next time.
US distributors describe the Pro as a ½ inch foam rubber pad on a smooth moulded plastic base, with slightly cupped edges to reduce drag at the leading edge and a hole at one end for an optional pull handle or strap. Its length makes it best suited to furniture with legs.
Operating Advice
- Get all four slides in place before you push. Three on and one off is how a leg digs in and how carpet gets pulled.
- Centre each leg or corner on its slide.
- Push rather than pull where you can, keeping the load over the slides.
- Remove the slides before the furniture goes in its final position.
- Slides are not a moisture barrier. When furniture goes back onto damp carpet, use plastic pads or foam blocks.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use the Pro on timber or tile?
EZ Moves sell a separate felt-based slide for hard floors. Use the hard-surface set there.
Pro or Carpet Skidders?
The Pro is a larger slide for heavy pieces with legs or corners. Carpet Skidders are small 9 cm discs for lighter items and single legs.
Can I leave them under the furniture?
No. They are designed to let furniture slide, and they are not a moisture barrier. Swap them for pads or blocks once the item is in place.
How much weight can they take?
EZ Moves do not publish a load rating. Tell us what you are moving and we will give you a straight answer rather than a guess.
