What the EIFS probe is for
EIFS — exterior insulation and finish systems — put a render coat over insulation board over the structural wall. Water that gets behind the render has nowhere to go and nothing on the surface shows it. The EIFS probe is a deep wall probe on a handle, built to reach through the system to where the moisture actually sits.
Long needles bend against fixings and framing. Treat them as consumables and carry a spare pair.

These are not hammer electrode needles
The EIFS probe takes its own 100 mm needles. The hammer electrodes take BLD05296 or BLD0529 depending on the model, and the integral pins on a meter take BLD0500. Four different needles, four part numbers.
