The Cool Cuff™ Female Swivel is the cuff that does all the swivelling when it is coupled to its male cuff counterpart. It comes in two diameters to suit your hose: 2 inch and 2.5 inch. This listing is the 2.5 inch female swivel.
Patented Cool Cuffs™ replace traditional vinyl cuff and barb connectors. With a simple twist, they connect. Hoses will not come apart even if the vacuum hose is stretched to its limit or you are cleaning several flights up in a building.
How the Cool Cuff System Fits Together
Cool Cuffs™ are a two-part vacuum hose connector made by Wanders Products. Each female cuff threads onto the end of a vacuum hose and locks to a male cuff with a quarter turn. The female swivel is the part that rotates, so the hose can turn without twisting the line.
- Female swivel (AH142): threads onto the hose and does the swivelling.
- Starter cuff (AH140): connects the hose line to the barb or pipe on the machine.
- 2.5 to 2 inch reducer insert (AH146): steps a 2.5 inch hose down to 2 inch Cool Cuffs.
CCW currently lists these three 2.5 inch parts. Male cuffs and 2 inch Cool Cuffs are not listed online; ask us if you need them.

Fitting and Care
- Cut the hose end square before threading the cuff on, so the hose seats fully and the joint seals.
- Keep the swivel clean of grit. Wanders offers a Cool Cuff lube to keep swivelling smooth.
- Check the joint seal if you notice a drop in vacuum at the wand; a leaking joint wastes airflow along the whole run.

Do I still need the male cuff?
Yes. Every joint is one female and one male cuff.
Can I mix 2.5 and 2 inch hose?
Yes, with the 2.5 to 2 inch reducer insert. Keep the larger hose for the long run and reduce close to the tool.
