Wands & Tool Parts

The wand is where the machine meets the carpet, and it is the part that wears. A valve that weeps, a glide with a worn leading edge or a jet dribbling off-pattern will cost you recovery on every pass — usually without any obvious symptom beyond slower drying and a customer who says the carpet stayed wet.

Most of it is replaceable. A repair kit and ten minutes on the bench will often restore a valve that feels finished, and a glide is a consumable, not a fitting.

This range covers the parts that wear: PMF V800-EZ, V124 and V4N HyDry valves and their repair kits, Sapphire titanium wand glides in both internal and external fit, CMP 251-30 Kingston valves with bolt-on hanger brackets in 1.5 inch and 2 inch, HydraMaster and Prochem rebuild kits, TeeJet jets, handles, strainers and quick connects.

How to choose

Match the pressure rating, not just the thread. A 500 psi valve on a 1200 psi machine is a failure waiting to happen. Check what your pump delivers before ordering, and if the valve body is unmarked, ask us rather than guess.

Internal fit and external fit glides are not interchangeable. Internal-fit glides seat inside the wand head; external-fit clamp around it. They are sold separately for the same wand size for that reason. Measure the head rather than working from the wand's nominal width.

Repair kit or complete valve. If the valve leaks at the jets, a seal kit usually fixes it. If it leaks at the stem, or the trigger has gone spongy, the stem kit is the one you want. A valve that has been rebuilt twice is generally telling you something.

Jets are a wear part with a service life. Brass jets drift off-pattern well before they look worn — around six months of steady use is a fair working assumption, with stainless lasting appreciably longer. Full jet and thread options are in T-Jets, V-Jets & Flood Jets.

Brand fitment is rarely universal. Wand manufacturers use their own valve bodies and head profiles. Where a part fits more than one machine we say so on the product page; where we are not certain, we say that too.

Complete wands are in Carpet Wands, and rebuild kits for valves across the range are grouped in Valve Repair Kits.
