The 42 degree angle is not arbitrary
The arm angle sets how the jets strike the surface as the head rotates. Change it and you change the cleaning action and the balance of the head — which is why a bent arm shows up as uneven cleaning and vibration rather than as an obvious fault.
If a spinner has started cleaning in bands, check the arms are straight and the jets are all flowing before adjusting pressure or chemistry.
The 12 inch version is the H441 arm.
