Why a glide is not a luxury on a detail tool
A detail tool is used on upholstery, stairs and edges — the places where the operator is working against awkward angles and cannot brace properly. A glide cuts the drag substantially, which means less force through the wrist and, more to the point, less risk of the head catching and marking a face fabric.
It also lifts the head slightly, which changes the airflow at the slot. If the tool has started leaving water behind, check the glide for wear before you blame the vacuum.
Fitment
Sized for the PMF Detailer. If you are fitting a glide to a different tool, measure the head width and the lip and send us the figures — glides are dimension-specific and a near fit is not a fit.
