Easy as 1, 2, 3... Use to dry all sorts of wet materials, such as hardwoods, headers, and plaster walls.
Simplify the setup process and significantly reduce your labour costs. After extracting excess water, simply tape around the edges, hook up the tubes (or hoses to manifolds), then hoses to the Air In (negative pressure) port of your HP System, and turn the system on. For safer drying use the INTERCEPTOR HEPA System.
(Taping the edges is the only way to ensure a consistently good seal and minimise the trip hazard).
Important: Check the Panel Size
CCW lists this panel at 36 × 30 inch (about 915 × 760 mm), and at least one US distributor lists it the same way. Injectidry's own price list and product sheet describe the 8-point panel as 46 × 30 inch (about 1,170 × 760 mm). We are confirming the size of current stock with Injectidry. If the footprint matters — a narrow hallway or between cabinets — ask us before you order.
Where the 8-Point Panel Fits
The 8-point panel is Injectidry's original Vac-It panel. With eight 3/8 inch extraction points spread across one large panel, it suits open areas of wet flooring. For tighter spaces, the Extra Slim XSP panel (7 × 30 inch, one point) fits around toilets, pedestal sinks and on stair treads. The Slim Panel Kit covers long, narrow runs.
How It Works
Vac-It panels run under negative pressure. The HP system draws air through the panel, which pulls moisture out of the flooring or wall surface beneath it. The seal is everything: any gap at the edge lets the system draw room air instead of drawing through the wet material.
- Extract standing water first. Injectidry's Vac-It panel instructions say to run an extractor on the area for 15–20 minutes before taping.
- Injectidry recommends running a water separator in the line for the first 24 hours after extraction, to stop liquid reaching the HP blower.
- Place the panel and tape all four edges. Injectidry recommends preservation tape — less sticky, but strong enough to hold, and it lets you lift an edge for moisture checks.
- Run 3/8 inch HP tubing from the extraction points to a manifold, joining lengths with 3/8 inch tubing connectors.
- Connect the hose from the manifold to the Air In (negative) port of the HP system. Cap any unused points or manifold ports with nipple caps.
- Switch on and check each panel is holding down under suction.
- Monitor with a moisture meter and record readings.
On Category 2 or 3 losses, exhaust from the HP system should be filtered. The original description above recommends Injectidry's Interceptor HEPA system. The Interceptor is not currently available to order online — ask us about filtration before you start, and follow your scope and the relevant restoration standard.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will it work with a Direct-It kit?
No. Vac-It panels need the negative pressure of an HP system. Direct-It moves large volumes of air at low pressure and is not designed to pull through a sealed panel.
Do I have to use all eight points?
Every point you leave open without tubing lets the system draw room air. Connect all eight, or cap the ones you do not use with nipple caps.
Do panels need to cover the whole wet area?
Not always. Injectidry's instructions say panels placed 2–3 ft (about 600–900 mm) apart will in most cases pull moisture from between them. They also recommend covering the full width of the wet area, because the flutes under the panel do not run across its width.
Can I cut the panel to fit?
One US distributor says the panel can be cut to suit the site. Injectidry does not say so in the documents we hold. A cut panel must still seal on every edge — ask us before you cut one.
How many panels can one HP system run?
Injectidry does not publish a panel count per system. It depends on the blower, the hose and tubing lengths and the other lines on the system. Ask us with your system model.
