The TWBS is Hydro-Force's heavy duty 8 litre pump-up sprayer, built for large volume spraying and made to be rebuilt rather than replaced.
Solid brass trigger assembly, 18 inch brass extension, heavy duty chemical resistant hose, brass fan pattern jets and a Viton check valve.
Injection or Pump-Up?
Two different ways to get chemical onto a floor, and the choice comes before the model.

Most operators end up with both: an injection sprayer for prespray volume, and a pump-up for acids, solvents and anything the machine should not see.
Which Pump-Up Sprayer
The deciding question is what chemistry you put through it.

The AS14A has no metal parts, which is exactly why it suits harsh acids and exactly why it must not see solvents. The AS16A is the opposite trade: Viton throughout for solvent work, with brass in the fluid path.
If you are running one sprayer for everything, you will eventually damage it. Dedicating a sprayer to acid and another to solvent is cheaper than rebuilding either.
What Changed on the Current Version
Hydro-Force revised this sprayer, and the changes are all failure points from the previous design:
- The wand clip is now moulded into the lid rather than attached, so it does not snap off.
- The pressure relief valve moved from the tank to the lid, where it is far harder to break, and it can now be turned and locked open or closed.
- The O-ring moved from the cap to the tank, which reduces its contact with chemical.

Operating Advice
- Release the pressure before opening the tank. A pump-up vessel holds pressure long after the last stroke.
- Dedicate a sprayer to a chemistry type and label it. Cross-contamination between acid and alkaline products is the most common cause of a sprayer that stops working properly.
- Flush it out at the end of the day rather than leaving product in it overnight. Most seal failures start there.
- Check the relief valve as part of servicing — it is the safety component on a pressurised vessel.
- Store it depressurised, with the lid loose.

Can I use solvents in it?
It has a Viton check valve, but tell us the specific product before you commit — the TCBS (AS16A) is the sprayer specified for solvent work.
Is it rebuildable?
Yes, completely, and CCW stocks the main service parts.
How do I tell which version I have?
Look at where the pressure relief valve sits. On the lid is the current version; on the tank is the earlier one. That also determines which pump assembly fits.
8 litres or 12?
8 litres is lighter to carry and pump. The 12 litre TCBS and Budget sprayers cover more area between refills.

What We See in the Field
Sprayers are rarely worn out. They are chemically killed — usually by one sprayer being used for everything, or by product left in the tank over a weekend. A second sprayer costs less than two rebuilds and a lost morning.
