Hydro-Force Pro Injection Sprayer

Regular price $577.55

SKU:AS08

Product Overview

The Hydro-Force Pro is the top of the injection sprayer range. It runs off your solution line and meters concentrate automatically, so there is no measuring, no mixing and no pumping.

The Pro's container is the rotomoulded 5 quart design with a large side-fill port, a wand holder and a recessed handle.

Injection or Pump-Up?

Two different ways to get chemical onto a floor, and the choice comes before the model.

Injection sprayer Pump-up sprayer
How it works Runs off your solution line and meters concentrate into the flow Self-contained, hand pumped, chemical mixed by hand
Mixing Automatic, set by a metering tip Measured and mixed by the operator
Needs A machine and a hose to the sprayer Nothing — works anywhere
Best for Volume prespray on a job where the machine is already running Away from the machine, small areas, and chemistry you would not put through the line
Models AS08 Pro, AS08P Plus AS202 TWBS, AS16A TCBS, AS14A Budget

Most operators end up with both: an injection sprayer for prespray volume, and a pump-up for acids, solvents and anything the machine should not see.

How an Injection Sprayer Works

It connects to your solution line and draws concentrate from its own container, metering it into the flow. You fill the container with concentrate, not with mixed solution.

That removes the two slow parts of pump-up spraying: measuring and mixing, and pumping. Dilution is set by a colour-coded metering tip — see Metering Tip Kit (NA0816A), sold separately.

Dilution Depends on Pressure, Not Just the Tip

Higher line pressure draws proportionally less chemical, so the same tip gives a weaker mix at 900 psi than at 300. Concentrate viscosity moves it too. Choose the tip for the ratio you want at the pressure you actually run.

This is the single most common cause of a dilution complaint on an injection sprayer, and it is not a fault.

Pro or Plus?

AS08 Pro (this product) AS08P Plus
Spray gun, wand, injection valve Same Same
Container Rotomoulded, side-fill port, wand holder, recessed handle Blow moulded, transparent
Refilling Through the side port without removing the injector assembly Through the top

The gun, the stainless extension and the injection valve are common to both. The difference is the container and how quickly it refills on a job.

Operating Advice

  • Confirm your working pressure before choosing a metering tip. Everything about the ratio follows from it.
  • Flush the sprayer through with clean water after solvent-bearing chemistry, before it is put away.
  • Check the strainer when a mix looks weak. A partly blocked strainer reads as the wrong tip.
  • Fill with concentrate, not pre-mixed solution — the sprayer does the mixing.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a machine to use it?

Yes. It runs off your solution line. For spraying away from the machine you want a pump-up sprayer.

Are metering tips included?

No. The tip kit (NA0816A) is sold separately.

My mix is weaker than the tip says — why?

Usually line pressure. Higher pressure draws proportionally less chemical. Thick concentrates do the same.

What is the difference between the Pro and the Plus?

The container. Same gun, same wand, same injection valve.

What We See in the Field

Sprayers are rarely worn out. They are chemically killed — usually by one sprayer being used for everything, or by product left in the tank over a weekend. A second sprayer costs less than two rebuilds and a lost morning.
