Protectors Only Work If They Are to Hand
Pads and blocks go under furniture legs to keep timber stain and metal rust off damp carpet. They are cheap, they are the difference between a finished job and a claim, and they are almost always skipped when the box has spilled into the bottom of the van and the technician is two rooms in.
Mounting a holder in the van is what turns "we should have blocked that" into a habit. That is the whole return on a holder — not tidiness, but the claims that do not happen.

Operating Advice
- Mount it where it is passed on the way out of the van, not where it fits neatly. If it is behind the machine it will not get used.
- Refill it at the start of the week rather than when it runs out mid-job.
- Keep it away from the wet gear. Protectors that have been rained on stick together and do not dispense.

Blocks or tabs?
Foam blocks lift a furniture leg clear of damp carpet, which is what you want under anything heavy or with a finish that can bleed. Plastic and foil tabs sit flat and suit lighter items and tight clearances. Most vans carry both.
Why do blocks need a holder?
Loose blocks compress and crumble under everything else in the van, and a crushed block does not hold a leg clear. Keeping full sheets flat is what makes a box last the month you paid for.
