Valve repair kit for the Kingston 251-30 valve, used on AW29 wands.
The Kingston 251-30 is the 30-degree angled trigger valve — sometimes called the “K” valve — fitted to newer CMP AW29 wands. CCW also lists the valve for the CMP AW57 and HydraMaster Evolution wands. This kit rebuilds the valve’s wearing parts so the forged brass body and stainless stem assembly can go back into service. Kingston is now part of Aquatrol.
Fitment
- Kingston 251-30 valve (CCW PCMPV1175), as fitted to AW29 wands
- The same valve as listed by CCW on the CMP AW29 wand (newer AW29 wands), CMP AW57 low profile wand and HydraMaster Evolution wand
Important: Check It Is a 251-30
This kit is for the Kingston 251-30 only. It does not fit the Westpak Soft Touch valves (AW791 brass, AW792 stainless) — those take the Soft Touch Valve Repair Kit (AW794). Older AW29 wands may carry a different valve. Check the markings on your valve, or send us a photograph, before ordering.
Rebuild rather than replace
A trigger valve fails at its seals, not its body. A dripping valve is a seat or an O-ring, and a kit plus twenty minutes on the bench restores it for a fraction of a new valve — and gets the wand back out the same day.
Replace the whole valve instead if the body is cracked, the threads are damaged or the stem is bent or scored.
Rebuilding the Valve
- Turn the machine off, release pressure from the solution line and disconnect the wand.
- Photograph the valve before you strip it, so the parts go back in the same order and orientation.
- Replace every part supplied in the kit, not just the one that looks worn.
- Clean the valve body and check the stem for scoring before reassembly.
- Apply a thin film of rubber-safe grease, such as INOX MX6, to new O-rings on assembly.
- Reassemble, then run clean water through the wand and check for leaks before the first job.

If you are rebuilding often, look upstream
Seats fail early because of grit. Repeated rebuilds are telling you about your solution filtration, not about the valve.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is in the kit?
Kingston does not publish a parts list for the kit, and US distributors describe it only as everything needed to rebuild the K valve. If you need to know the exact contents before ordering, ask us.
Is PKI25130 the same as PK25130?
Yes. PK25130 is the repair-kit number given on CCW’s 251-30 valve page; PKI25130 is CCW’s SKU for it. US distributors also list it as 251-30-KIT.
Does it fit other brands’ K valves?
US distributors cross-reference this kit against several machine makers’ own part numbers for the same Kingston valve. If your valve is a Kingston 251-30 it should take this kit whatever machine it came on — send us a photograph if you are unsure.
Is the valve included?
No. This is the repair kit only. The complete valve is the Kingston 251-30 Wand Valve (PCMPV1175).
