CCW's listing gives the X-47 up to 2800 CFM with a low 1 A draw. Its grille design extends a focused stream of air up to 18 metres in any direction. The lightweight yet durable ABS injection-moulded housing can be stacked up to 5 units high.
Axial Fan or Air Mover?
An axial fan moves a large volume of air at lower pressure. It is the better tool for circulating air through a big open space, ventilating, cooling and moving air along corridors. A centrifugal air mover pushes a concentrated, high-velocity stream across a surface, which is what carpet and floor drying needs. Many restoration jobs use both: centrifugal units on the wet surfaces, an axial fan to keep air moving through the space and towards the dehumidifier.
Confined Space Ventilation
Ducting hoses (16DH25 or 16DH15) and an adapter kit (16DHK) are available separately for confined space ventilation. CCW does not list these online — ask us for price and availability. Confined space entry has its own legal requirements; a fan and duct are only one part of a compliant set-up.

Airflow note: US distributors list the X-47ATR at 3600 CFM. That figure is for the 115 V model, and CCW's listing gives 2800 CFM for the unit sold here. The two figures are shown side by side rather than averaged.
Electrical Safety
- Plug into an earthed outlet protected by an RCD, and keep leads off wet floors where you can.
- Include the unit in your test-and-tag schedule.
- Before daisy-chaining or running several units on one circuit, add up the current draw of every unit and stay within the circuit and outlet rating. The figures on this page are CCW's listing for the 230 V unit.
- Do not run the unit if the lead, plug or housing is damaged.
Care
- The sealed motor resists water and contaminants, but the fan is not designed to be hosed down or submerged. Wipe it clean.
- Keep the grilles clear — debris on the grille cuts airflow.
- If the thermal protection trips, switch off, unplug and let it cool before restarting.

Centrifugal air movers push a concentrated, high-velocity stream across the surface — the right tool for drying carpet, underlay and floors. Axial fans move a larger, wider body of air at lower pressure — better for general air circulation, ventilation and large open areas. Low-profile units get under cabinets, beds and toe-kicks.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use it to dry carpet?
It will help, but a centrifugal air mover dries carpet faster because it concentrates the airflow on the surface. Use the X-47ATR to move air through the space.
Is it safe to use in wet areas?
The motor is sealed against water and contaminants. The electrical supply still needs to be protected — use an RCD and keep the plug off wet floors.
Are the ducting hoses included?
No. The 16DH25 and 16DH15 hoses and 16DHK adapter kit are separate — ask us.
