Before You Fit It
- Unplug the machine before removing the fan motor cover.
- If a screw has worked loose in service, check the cover and the fan for contact damage before refitting.
- Start the screw by hand so it does not cross-thread, then snug it up without over-tightening.
- The motor lid screw (HOS3023-06) is a different part. Check which one you are replacing.

How many screws does the cover use?
Orbot does not publish the count. Count the screw holes on your cover and order to suit. If one has been lost, check the others are tight.
Is this the same as the motor lid screw?
No. The motor lid screw is listed separately as HOS3023-06. If you are not sure which one you need, send us a photograph of the screw against a ruler.
