Automatic Wastewater Disposal System (AWDS) Kit

Regular price $4,869.61

Overview

The Automatic Wastewater Disposal System (AWDS) is a pump kit that discharges recovered wastewater from the truckmount into a building's sanitary sewer, instead of holding it in the waste tank until the end of the job.

HydraMaster part number 000-079-220, listed as Kit, AWDS Universal. It is supplied as a complete kit with pump, base, plumbing fittings and integrated wiring.

What problem it solves

A truckmount without automatic pump-out is limited by its waste tank. On a large commercial job that means stopping to dump, or running a separate discharge line by hand. The AWDS moves the wastewater continuously while you keep cleaning, so tank capacity stops being the thing that sets your working pattern.

Verified fitment

The kit is designed to wire into any auxiliary switch, so it is not restricted to the machines above. Verified from the HydraMaster parts books: Boxxer 318HP MAN-46586 Rev C and TMTG4000 MAN-47717 Rev B.

Discharge requirements in Australia

Discharging cleaning wastewater to the sewer is regulated by the local water authority, and trade waste requirements differ between states and between councils. Some sites require a trade waste agreement or pre-treatment before discharge is permitted.

The AWDS gives you the means to discharge to a sanitary sewer. Whether you may do so at a given site is a question for the water authority and the building owner, not for the equipment. Confirm before you rely on it as your disposal method.

Installation

The plumbing allows a floor installation in most locations using the supplied fittings, and the pump requires 1.5 sq ft of clear floor space. The wiring is integrated, so no additional circuit is needed.

Installation should be carried out by CCW or an authorised representative. Fitting a kit that ties into the machine's electrical and waste plumbing has warranty implications if it is done incorrectly — talk to us before you start.

Frequently asked questions

Will it fit a machine that is not a HydraMaster?

The kit is built to wire into an auxiliary switch rather than a specific machine, so it is not tied to one brand. Send us your machine details and we will confirm before you order.

Does it handle solids?

The valves are oversized to pass larger solids and debris than a standard pump-out. It is not a substitute for a filter — keep the recovery tank filter serviced.

Do I need a separate circuit for it?

No. It is designed to run from an existing auxiliary switch.

How much floor space does it need?

1.5 sq ft of clear floor, approximately 0.14 m².

Can I discharge to any sink or gully?

Not automatically. Check the trade waste requirements for the site and the local water authority first.
