The Gekko Wet Vac Squeegee Head is a 14 inch vacuum-only head for maximum water removal from hard surfaces. The squeegee blades recover water without the suck-down that afflicts most vacuum squeegee tools.
Important — No Jets, Vacuum Only
Unlike the Gekko Squeegee Head (AR51E), this head has no jets. It does not clean; it removes water.

It fits the wet vac wand, not the Gekko cleaning wand. Buying this expecting to clean with it is the mistake worth avoiding.
Why Suck-Down Matters
A squeegee tool that grips a wet floor is slower to use and harder on the operator, and the operator ends up lifting the tool to break the seal — which is exactly when water is left behind. A head that maintains recovery without gripping does more water per pass with less effort.

Operating Advice
- Inspect the blades before a flood job. A nicked or hardened blade breaks the seal, and a broken seal is the difference between extracting water and moving it around.
- Work in one direction, overlapping, back toward an exit.
- Extract mechanically before setting drying equipment. Water pulled off the floor is water you do not have to evaporate.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does it clean as well as extract?
No. It has no jets. For cleaning use the Gekko Squeegee Head (AR51E).
Which wand does it fit?
The Gekko Wet Vac Wand (AR51X). Not the Gekko cleaning wand.
Can I get replacement blades?
They exist as AR51SQ. We do not currently stock them — ask us and we will source them.
Will it work on carpet?
No. A squeegee needs a flat surface to seal against. Use a carpet extraction tool on carpet.
What We See in the Field
The Gekko range gets bought head by head over time, and the generation question is what catches people out — an old wand with a new head, or the reverse, bought months apart from different places. Check the generation before ordering rather than after.
The other pattern is pressure. Operators who are disappointed with a hard surface result are usually short on dwell time or running the wrong chemistry, and no amount of extra pressure at the tool makes up for either.
