The Gekko Wet Vac Wand is a vacuum-only wand for water extraction on hard surfaces. It pairs with the Gekko Wet Vac Squeegee Head 14 Inch (AR51V) and nothing else.
Important — This Is Not the Gekko Cleaning Wand
The AR51X has no solution line and none of the components needed to run the Gekko cleaning heads. It cannot take the SX-7, SX-15, squeegee, brush, 4 inch or corner heads.

What It Is For
Standing water on hard surfaces. A wet vac wand and squeegee pulls water off tile, vinyl and sealed concrete far faster than a carpet wand will, because the squeegee maintains a seal against a flat surface where a carpet wand head cannot.
On a water damage job that difference is the first hour, and the first hour is what decides how much drying equipment you need afterwards.

Operating Advice
- Extract standing water before anything else. Water removed mechanically is water you do not have to evaporate.
- Keep the squeegee blade in condition. A nicked blade breaks the seal and the wand stops pulling water.
- Do not use it as a cleaning wand. There is no solution line and forcing it into that role achieves nothing.

Considerably. A squeegee seals against a flat surface; a carpet wand head does not.
What We See in the Field
The Gekko range gets bought head by head over time, and the generation question is what catches people out — an old wand with a new head, or the reverse, bought months apart from different places. Check the generation before ordering rather than after.
The other pattern is pressure. Operators who are disappointed with a hard surface result are usually short on dwell time or running the wrong chemistry, and no amount of extra pressure at the tool makes up for either.
