Unsmoke Air Neutraliser eliminates smoke and fire odours from hard surfaces and textiles.
This versatile formulation neutralises fire, smoke and cigarette odours and removes residue that can cause odours. Use it full strength, as a solution or as an additive depending on the application.

Apply directly with a mister or add to other cleaning agents or paint for long-lasting odour control.
Where It Fits in a Smoke Odour Job
Deodorising works best after the source has been dealt with. Remove charred material and clean soot and residue from surfaces first; Air Neutraliser then treats the odour that remains in the air, on cleaned surfaces and in textiles. Where odour is locked into structural timber, an encapsulant such as Unsmoke Unsoot #1 may be needed after cleaning.

Note: cover furniture, paintings, clothes or any objects subject to attack by solvents. Avoid overwetting.

Safety
The safety data sheet on file (Legend Brands ProRestore, product 100084, Canadian WHMIS format, 14 May 2025) classifies the concentrate as a flammable liquid, category 3, signal word Warning. Key points from that SDS:
- Flash point 43 °C. Keep away from heat, sparks, open flames and other ignition sources. No smoking.
- When fogging, turn off pilot lights and other ignition sources, ventilate, and keep occupants and pets out of the treated area. Do not breathe vapour or spray mist.
- Wear protective gloves and eye protection. The SDS lists the product as a skin irritant.
- Contains ethoxylated C9–C11 alcohols (7–13%), dipropylene glycol (5–10%) and isopropyl alcohol (1–5%).
- Transport: UN 1993, flammable liquid n.o.s. (isopropyl alcohol), Class 3, Packing Group III. A dangerous goods shipping surcharge applies.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is it safe to fog in an occupied building?
No. The concentrate is flammable and the SDS says not to breathe the spray mist. Clear the area, remove ignition sources, fog, then ventilate before people return.
Can I use it in a thermal fogger?
The directions call for a cold fogger on fine mist. Do not put a flammable product into a heated fogger unless the manufacturer approves it.
Will it mask the odour or remove it?
It neutralises odour and removes residue that causes odour. It will not fix an odour whose source is still present, so clean or remove the source first.
Can I add it to paint?
Yes, to water-based paint at 30 mL per litre. Test a small area for colour and finish first.
