Why a non-invasive meter needs checking more than a pin meter does
A pin meter tells you when it is broken — the reading goes to zero or refuses to settle. An impedance scanner does not. It keeps producing plausible numbers after a knock, and the only way to know is to put it on a known reference. If your readings are going into a flooring decision, check the meter at the start of the job and note that you did.
The equivalent for the moisture encounter range is the ME5 calibration check box; for MRH series meters it is the MRH3 calibration check box.
Tell us which meter you run and we will confirm the right accessory before you order.
