Note on the vent part number: the list above names the vents "WV2 4'" as CCW has always listed them. In Injectidry's price list, WV2 is the 2 ft wall vent and WV4 is the 4 ft wall vent. This package is the 4 ft version, so expect 4 ft vents. We are confirming the part number with Injectidry.
What It Is For
Injectidry describes the SA-5 as a way to dry multi-layered and insulated walls with any centrifugal air mover. Injectidry's catalogue lists these uses:
- Multi-layered and insulated wall assemblies
- Finished timber flooring
- Sleepered gymnasium floors
- Ceilings, through downlight (can light) openings
It is a drying accessory. It moves air into cavities — it is not a containment or air-filtration device.
Important: SA-5-4 or SA-5-2?
Both packages use the same five-port adapter. The difference is vent length and how much wall they cover.

Figures are Injectidry's. The SA-5-4 covers nearly twice the length of wall from the same air mover. The SA-5-2 suits shorter runs and tighter rooms, where a 4 ft vent will not fit.
SA-5 or Adaptidry?
Injectidry makes the SA-5 for centrifugal air movers. The Adaptidry 5 Port and Adaptidry 9 Port seat on the duct rings of air movers and ventilators instead. Choose by the air mover you already run. If you are not sure which suits your fleet, tell us the make and model.
Operating Advice
- Keep ducting runs as short and straight as the job allows. Every kink and extra metre costs airflow.
- Secure every duct at both ends with the turnkey clamps. A duct that pops off blows air into the room, not the wall.
- Injectidry rates its M4 Mylar ducting to 160°F (about 71°C). Do not feed it heated air above that.
- Monitor the materials with a moisture meter, not the clock. The adapter speeds drying — it does not tell you when the wall is dry.
- Follow Injectidry's instructions supplied with the package for vent placement and fixing.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which air movers does it fit?
Injectidry says any centrifugal air mover, but does not publish a model list or the adapter's mounting dimensions. Tell us which air mover you run and we will confirm before you order.
Can it pull air out of the wall as well as push it in?
Injectidry's literature for the SA-5 describes pushing air into the structure. It does not describe negative (extraction) use, so we do not claim it.
Will the 4 ft vents fit every wall?
A 4 ft vent needs about 1.2 m of clear wall run. In short walls, behind cabinets or between openings, the 2 ft vents in the SA-5-2 may suit better.
Can I add more vents?
Injectidry sells 1, 2 and 4 ft vents, tees and extra carry bags separately. CCW does not list them individually — ask us.
How do I dry a timber or gym floor with it?
Injectidry lists finished timber and sleepered gym floors as uses, but the method depends on the floor construction. Talk to us before you drill or open a finished floor.
Is the adapter available on its own?
Injectidry makes an adapter-only version (SA-5-AO). CCW does not list it — ask us if you need one.
