A weld-on conversion bracket for the CMP 251-30 Kingston wand valve. It also fits the Westpak Soft Touch valve.
The bracket is what holds the valve and its handle on the wand. Weld-on means it is welded to the wand tube, so it becomes a permanent part of the wand.

Weld-On is Permanent
A welded bracket is stronger and cannot work loose, which suits a wand that will keep the same valve for its working life. It also means the wand cannot easily be reconfigured later, and welding stainless or aluminium tube properly is a workshop job rather than a field one.
If you want the option to change the setup, the bolt-on brackets in 2 inch and 1.5 inch do the same job reversibly. A 1.75 inch bolt-on bracket is also listed.
Fitting Advice
- Release pressure from the solution line and remove the valve from the wand before any welding. Heat will damage the valve seals.
- Confirm the bracket material is compatible with your wand tube before welding. Stainless and aluminium tube need the correct process and filler.
- Mount the valve on the bracket and check its position on the tube before tacking, so the lever sits where the operator's hand naturally falls and the solution line runs to the valve without a kink.
- Clean and pressure-test the wand after welding, before the valve goes back into service.
- If the valve itself is leaking, rebuild it with the 251-30 repair kit while it is off the wand.
