How the HP system works
Injectidry HP is a negative-pressure wall drying system. A blower pulls air out of a wall cavity through a manifold and a set of hose lines; injectors let replacement air in through small holes drilled in the lining. Air moves through the cavity rather than past it, which is the only way to dry a wall without opening it up.
Everything in the range is about maintaining that airflow path. A leak anywhere in the manifold, a capped port left open, or a blocked injector, and the system draws the easy air instead of the air you need moved.
Building the run
Inline manifolds let you take multiple hose lines off a single run without breaking it. That is what makes it practical to dry a long wall or several rooms from one blower — you extend the run and tap off it rather than running separate lines back to the machine.
Push-to-connect fittings seal on the tube, so cut the tube square. A tube cut at an angle will hold mechanically and leak.
Close the end of a run with an end cap. Join to hose with a hose barb.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does it work with Direct-It?
Injectidry lists the IM-125 for HP products only. The 1.25 inch end cap suits both HP and Direct-It, but the manifold does not. Direct-It uses its own connections, so ask us before mixing parts between systems.
How many manifolds can I put on one run?
Injectidry does not publish a limit for the IM-125. Each extra line takes a share of the blower's airflow, so a long run with many lines dries each point more slowly. Check airflow at the far end of the run and the moisture readings, not just that the blower is running.
Can I reuse the fittings?
Yes, if the tube end is still square and undamaged. If a joint leaks after being pulled apart, trim the tube square and refit it.
