The Injectidry AH3 active hoseline is the working section of an Injectidry HP drying system: a 6 ft (about 1.8 m) hose with 10 × 3/8 inch tubing ports. Injectidry supplies each one with 10 × 20 inch (about 510 mm) lengths of tubing, each with a wall injector already fitted.
Active or blank?
An active hoseline carries injectors — it is the section that actually connects to the wall. A blank hoseline carries no injectors and is used to get from the machine to where the work is.
Most setups use blank line for the run and active line at the wall. Using active line for the whole run means every unused injector is a leak that has to be capped.

Injectidry's HP-60 guide also lists 2 hose cuffs and 1 quick-connect hose connector with each active hoseline. The CCW listing does not state them, so confirm with us if you are relying on them.
How It Connects
In an Injectidry HP system the blower feeds a network of hose and quick-connect fittings. The parts CCW lists for that network are:
- Main W connector
- Blank hoseline, 1.5 inch, safety yellow (PL03) for the run to the work area
- 1.25 inch push-to-connect inline manifold (IM-125) and end cap (EC-125)
- 3/8 inch tubing, tubing connectors and nipple caps for unused ports
- 3/16 inch wall injectors
Setting Up
- Lay the active hoseline along the wall or ceiling being dried, with blank hoseline carrying the air back to the blower.
- Drill for the 3/16 inch wall injectors. Injectidry specifies a 1/4 inch drill bit for cabinets.
- Injectidry recommends 18–20 inch tubing lengths, or about 6 inch if you hang the active hoseline from the ceiling.
- Cap any port you are not using with a nipple cap so it does not bleed air.
Injectidry's HP-60 system figure is 134 linear feet (about 41 m) with one injector every 16 inches. That is a whole-system figure, not a rating for one hoseline.
Before You Start the Blower
- The HP system is not for extracting water. Injectidry warns that bulk water passing through the HP blower can severely damage it and voids the warranty.
- When drying under negative pressure, Injectidry says to wait at least 30 minutes and until no more bulk water appears from beneath panels.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does it work with Direct-It?
No. Direct-It uses 1.25 inch hose, hose cuffs and 5/8 inch wall penetrators. The AH3 is an HP part.
Can I replace the tubing and injectors?
Yes. CCW lists the 3/16 inch wall injectors, 3/8 inch tubing and tubing connectors separately.
What do I do with ports I am not using?
Fit a 3/8 inch nipple cap. An open port is a leak that costs you suction at every other injector.
How many active hoselines can one blower run?
Injectidry does not state a per-blower limit in the guide we hold. Tell us which blower you run and the job size and we will help you plan it.
