It now comes ready to insert hoses into the adapter. The adapter attaches to almost all standard air movers. Easy to set the system up in minutes, even without the accompanying manual. Important: Kit or Adapter? Standard or Axial?
- This listing is the complete kit (Injectidry part UAA1) — adapter, hose, cuffs and penetrators.
- This adapter is for standard (centrifugal) air movers — it sits on the outlet snout. For axial fans and air scrubbers with duct rings, use the Direct-It kit (UAA2).

Injectidry's own packing list for this kit (Direct-It manual) is: the adapter, 3 × PL05 1.25 inch × 50 ft hose (150 ft, about 45.7 m), 17 × HC1 1.25 inch hose cuffs, 17 × WP2 5/8 inch wall penetrators, 10 × end cap plugs, a carry bag and the manual. CCW lists the four items above — ask us if you need to confirm the end caps and bag are in the box you receive.
How It Attaches
Injectidry's manual says the Direct-It IN attaches to the front of most standard air movers and dries positively — moving dry air into trapped spaces. Set the air mover against the adapter's gasket; Injectidry warns not to shove it into the gasket, as it can tear.
CCW's description above mentions pushing or pulling air; Injectidry's manual describes only positive (blowing) use for the Direct-It IN. For negative drying on duct-ring equipment, the axial Direct-It (UAA2) is the adapter Injectidry documents.
Check your own air mover before ordering — outlet shapes vary between brands and generations, and Injectidry names no specific models. Low-profile units such as the Dri-Eaz Velo have a different outlet from a traditional snail-shell air mover; send us a photo if unsure.
Drilling and Set-Up
- Extract standing water first. Direct-It moves air into cavities; it does not remove water.
- Drill an 11/16 inch (about 17.5 mm) hole for each 5/8 inch wall penetrator — Injectidry specifies a paddle bit of that size.
- Fit an adjustable drill stop. Injectidry strongly recommends one: electrical cabling and plumbing sit behind walls and cabinets.
- Cut the PL05 hose to the lengths you need, fit a hose cuff to each end at the wall, and push the penetrator into the hole.
- Connect the other ends to the adapter and cap any unused adapter ports.
- Monitor with a moisture meter and record readings as you would for any drying job.
Injectidry's suggested cut list turns the three 50 ft rolls into lengths from 2 ft to 12 ft, which is how the kit reaches its 22 linear feet (about 6.7 m) of wall "as packaged".
Working With an Injectidry HP System
CCW's description says the Direct-It IN can assist HP systems on hardwood floors. The two systems do not share hose or fittings: Direct-It uses 1.25 inch PL05 hose and HC1 cuffs; HP uses push-to-connect fittings such as the HC-125 barb. Run them side by side, not joined.

Warranty
Injectidry's manual gives a 1-year warranty on Direct-It and Direct-It IN products, excluding accidental damage, alteration, normal wear, disassembly, lack of maintenance, fire or flood damage, chemical damage, unauthorised repairs, non-genuine parts and misuse. Will it fit my air mover?
Injectidry says it fits almost all standard air movers but lists no models. Tell us the make and model, or send a photo of the outlet, and we will check.
What is the difference between Direct-It IN and Direct-It?
Same hose, cuffs and penetrators; different adapter. The Direct-It IN goes on the outlet of a standard air mover. The Direct-It fits 12–18 inch duct rings on axial fans and air scrubbers and can run positive or negative.
Where does it earn its keep?
Under kitchen and bathroom cabinets, inside wall cavities and behind skirting — spaces where air movers alone cannot reach and where opening up the structure costs more than drilling small holes.
How far will one kit dry?
Injectidry rates it at 22 linear feet (about 6.7 m) of wall as packaged.
What will I need to replace?
